Why does MacBook battery replacement take 3+ business days overall?
Because lithium-ion laptop batteries must travel via DOT-compliant ground shipping (minimum 3 business days transit) rather than air freight, we order a fresh, low-cycle battery pack matched to your exact MacBook serial/model ($170–$220). Once it arrives at our Loop office, physical installation is completed same-day (you don't need to leave your MacBook with us while the battery is in transit).
What warranty comes with a replacement MacBook battery?
In accordance with our shop warranty policy, replacement batteries—categorized as consumable chemical components—carry a full 1-Year Warranty against manufacturing defects, premature capacity failure, or swelling. Do you need my MacBook password or erase my data during a battery swap?
No. Your SSD storage and personal files are never touched during a battery replacement, and we do not need your login password.
Will replacing a swollen MacBook battery fix my trackpad if it stopped clicking?
In most cases, yes. A swollen lithium-ion battery presses directly upward against the underside of the Force Touch trackpad, preventing it from clicking or tracking properly. Removing the swollen pack and installing a fresh battery typically restores normal trackpad feel immediately.
